Wild game tonight! Plenty of doubles and smart choices abound, but Those People won the main prize. Shout out to the Big Ballers- second place is a pretty damn good debut for your first night.

It was the fight for third that took the most interesting turn- Check For Fruits found me after the game had ended and showed me the error of my ways- I had miscounted their final score! Upon this discovery, we initiated a true final showdown tiebreaker between them and Rocco Raccoon. Rocco got closer, and retained their bronze prize.

QUIZ RECAP

This night was a little all over the place, not gonna lie.

Take for example, round 4. Staff Infection, a team of staff members, won the drinking round, but naturally had to decline the drinks out of fairness. Immediately after Carmi Chameleon won, but the staff cut them off and elevated them illeligible as well. The drinks eventually went to the 900Dollarydoos, in a somewhat Pyrrhic victory.

Speaking of which, CONGRATULATIONS to the 900Dollarydoos! They got the lead and they got it fast- they successfully doubled in four out of five rounds! They didn't even need to double in the final, but they did it anyways and got their record highest score of 92. Well done guys, nice return to form. Shout out to your teammate Duane- we'll miss you when you go out to Grand Rapids, hope we have trivia there!

Congrats as well to newcomers Buonannos, getting their first silver at Rocco's. A hearty thumbs up to Those People who had a rockier night, they fumbled two of their doubles, but killed the final round so perfectly that their answers were ready a minute after the questions were read. It gave them the boost they needed to grab that bronze.

Congrats to Those People for winning the gold, but also shame on them for the horrible, disgusting things they wrote in the drinking round. Teams had to conjure up what they thought might be in the newly submitted Mueller Report- and the the Fifty Shades of Orange they submitted is in no way reprintable.

I'm going to go shower in bleach.
