QUIZ RECAP

Look, I love you guys and I'm not trying to be mean.

But y'all need to get some movie buffs on your team.

This night got a little rough- Club Obi-Wan had a tight lead from the beginning, but ultimately were the only team to double successfully, securing their win. The teams, with three prize players vying for the third spot each tied or a point off, looked forward to the finale to save their scores.

Then they heard it was movies, and there was much despair.

Hiwever, don't doubt the teams at Rocco's- these are some of the smartest cookies I've encountered in the San Gabriel Valley. Don't count them out just yet.

What a night at Rocco's! Smart teams abound, this was a hard night but y'all came through.

Congratulations to our new champions, the Mothers of Invention! Way to nail the double in the very creative third round and stay strong til the end, well done.

Shout-out to our runners up, Perpetually Second Place (way to fulfill the prophecy again) and Almost Okay for their solid gameplay.

First, a notorious note to the team that immediately shouted out the answer to the first question and was immediately disqualified. Thank you for saving me the paper.

And another ignominious shout out to Team That's What She Said! They blatantly cheated in the first round, kept cheated throughout the game, drunkenly confessed to the quizmaster in the penultimate round, and got called out once the final scores were announced. CONGRATULATIONS! Please never come back.
