QUIZ RECAP

This night was brought to you by the Letter C, for Chaos!

This was a WILD game of trivia, with tons of doubling, lots of wild guessing, and some answer-shouting that had to be put down immediately (by yours truly.)

In the end, it was the newcomers that owned the night. 6740 Amigos stole the show in Round 4 by nailing the Guess Who? drinking round in moments, but it was ultimately the combined efforts of Jenn's Posse that took the night by storm and solidified team member Janine's very happy birthday (Oh yeah, Happy Birthday!)

As for our regulars...well I'm sure they'll be fine. Just fine.

Dynasties fall everyday, and last night one was broken.

It all started in the Guess Who? round. Perpetually Second Place and Those People were neck and neck with only one point separating them, the latter leading the former. Then, in a flash of a ten point clue, our multi-silver titleholders brandished the correct answer. An answer that Those People never got.

Being dethroned isn't good for your health or your game- only exacerbated further when Those People doubled down two rounds later and slipped up with one wrong guess.

Perpetually Second Place, your curse is broken. Good luck coming up with a new name.

And shout-out to the Salty Dogs, placing in the top 3 for the first time tonight. Power to you.

Woo! This was a skewed night. Pop culture and geo-political history reigned during this game, and any other knowledge bases found themselves utterly out of luck.

Not that there weren't some bold attempts: Ready Player None and Perpetually Second Place made bold attempts to double in the final round, but luckily for Those People they both rolled snake eyes. Regardless, it was still a fun night with all teams ready for next week. With a vengeance.
