It was a hectic night in between the Raptors and the Warriors battling it out on television and the teams battling it out in King Trivia. Luckily Beermug was there as my always amazing co host and he helped bridge the two worlds of sports and trivia. Nonetheless we managed to make it work in between the game and questions with a crick in all our necks, furiously writing down answers before swiveling our heads to watch the game. Just as the Raptors and Warriors had an excellent game so too did trivia have some fierce competition between newcomers Come Correct and our regular champs Pannido, Beer Me Og, and Math Teachers + 1. In the end it was Math Teachers who stole the lead with a decisive round 6 double down for 20 points! Beer Me and Pannido were close all night, and the 1 point difference was just enough to lose second for Pannido but still manage to take home the sweet 3rd place $25 dollars. I will see you all next week at 7pm at the Bike for King Trivia!

The chips were down trivia wild. The bike casino was ready to go. Eight teams squared up against the trivia dealer. Big teams small teams all in between teams. Father and son battled against a team of ten church going history majors. Three teams kept swapping third place. Even the bar staff decided to play. Thanks to a few successful double downs and a some knowledge of holy cities a king was crowned but everyone went home a winner.

The top three teams this Thursday were vicious. Taking First place from each other with every new round that passed. In the end, only five points separated First from Third, and it was a nail-biter. This quiz was hard, but despite that, each top three team managed to score over 50 points which is absolutely wild. Coming in third we had newcomers to the scene (with the best name to date in my humble opinion) the Red Hot Trivia Peppers! They stayed up there with trivia titans Pannido and You Who throughout it all. But in the end, Pannido managed to snatch the Reigning Champion Trophy from You Who's hands by a mere 2 points. Pannido took home the $100 gift card prize, and You Who took home the $50. We will see next week if either team can solidify themselves as the Trivia Champs!
