QUIZ RECAP

It quickly became apparent that Bike Champions Pannido had a new challenger this night. It may have been just an unlucky Pannido night, or perhaps You Who was just on fire. Or maybe... just maybe... there's a new Champion in town. They battled it out all night, like two master swordsmen in the middle of a raging battle of other competitors. Double downs at the beginning of the match set them apart, and set the stage for the epic duel. Were it not for one faulty double down by Pannido, one tiny misstep of a word difference between Boxer and Fighter, then Pannido would have taken the day. But they still secured second place easily. Hold Me Closer played a valiant game next to the two warring giants and clinched the $25 prize from among the rest. Congratulations to the Champs of this night You Who, who took home the $100 Bike prize. Let's see what happens when these two duelists face off again next week!

QUIZ RECAP

This was a game of many double downs. And also many 0's for rounds. Despite the daring of the teams, many of them were tripped up by the sneaky questions of round 1, 4, and 6. In the midst of the trivia turmoil, Old Minerz carried on their slow and steady course, consistently chalking up points to take the third place prize of $25. Boom Shaka Laka came in hot as a new team and whether it was just beginner's luck or a sheer trivia mastery only they can know. They took second place with 50 points and their prize matched their score. Our victors had a rough start with a failed double down in round two, but they did not let their failure deter them, and they double down once more in round 6 for a massive 20 point boost. This took them to the top at 57 points earning them the coveted $100 prize. Bike Brewery has a history of new players excelling, so perhaps next Thursday at 7 we'll have a new team blow in from town ready to take down our champs Pannido! See you all next week!

QUIZ RECAP

This last Thursday I was ecstatic to see how many returning teams we had for King Trivia! The games are fiercer but the companionship grows as well and last night's game was no exception. Team Pollos, though one of the new teams, seemed like a natural part of the Bike Trivia gang after just a few rounds. But even amongst friends Trivia has only room for one King and this week it went to Pannido with 59 points, keeping the crown atop their head for one more week. Team Pollos had a killer 20 point double down in the 6th round, sending them to second place with 53 points in their very first Trivia game, congrats! And taking home the third place prize is the Bike Gang who proved that strong and steady can still net you 50 points and $25. Thanks for an awesome Thursday and I'll be seeing everyone next week for Trivia.
