Halloween may be a week away, but there's nothing scarier than not doing your drunken best in trivia. Six teams entered the battle on Thursday and they fought hard. Math Teachers and The Pannidos jumped out to an early lead and quickly faded their competition. Double-0r-nothings were the only way to separate yourself and both teams were up to the task, but in the end, The Pannidos crushed more rounds and went home with the gold and finally ending the hot streak Math Teacher's were on. If you're only reading these recaps and not coming to experience this amazing feat of knowledge in person, you're not living a complete life. Yes, I am talking to YOU!

October may be a month long celebration for the dead, but it's never a graveyard on Thursday nights at The Bike Brewery. Last night was a very competitive game between four teams and when the ghosts were finally able to rest, Math Teachers came out on top and successfully defended their title from last week. Did they make a bargain with the undead in order to win first place? I don't know, but what I do know is that you need to come down to The Bike Brewery on Thursday nights. It's more fun than the crappy Halloween party you were thinking about flaking on. Come dressed up!

There's a line in a movie you may have seen over the past weekend and it reminded me of tonight's game: "When you bring me out, could you introduce me as Joker?" You may wonder, "What's that have to do with King Trivia", but I'll tell you. EVERYTHING. So, while the Dodgers may have disappointed us (I'm looking at you Clayton Kershaw), King Trivia rolls on. Tonight's crowd was intense. Points were scored, cheers were yelled and we had an insanely tight game. There was only a 1 point difference between first and second place during the first three rounds. Math Teachers and Team Pannido clashed and it looked like we might be going down to a tiebreaker. That's when round four happened. Math Teachers broke away and ran off with this week's title. It was an incredible night, you missed out.
