QUIZ RECAP

What a lovely evening it was at the Bungalow out in Santa Monica. I was a guest in this space, but I was quickly welcomed with great energy and enthusiasm by the players. I could tell from Round 1 there was som fierce competition in the arena, and people came to win! Strong but Wrong were focused and engaged the WHOLE time, and well the nubmers show. It paid off! And in First Place Part 3, you had Iphone issues 3 times, and well I suggest buying a new phone for trivia night! Either way thanks for being good sports, you made me laugh (and looks like you enjoyed yourself along the way). With an upgrade from Verizion, I see great potential from this team! I lost my Virginity at 65 (they asked me to read it this way...), well done! Your team effort paid off and was fun to watch your fierce competition. And finally, of course the winners of tonights trivia event, I Thought This Was Speed Dating! Your teamwork and dynamite squad was hard to compete with. You gave it your all on this night, and well the numbers show. The numbers show! Thanks again to all the teams and for an awesome trivia night, until next time! Take care everyone 🙂 

QUIZ RECAP

The holidays have arrived at the Bungalow! The tent is up and holiday cheer filled the rooms at this Santa Monica hot spot. 

Twelve teams joined us for trivia and all of them remained for all 7 rounds. Well, one team joined late, but stayed until the end. We love to see the dedication!

The team looking for an Alibi reigned surpreme once again from the first round. They deployed a successful double or nothing at nearly every opportunity and earned a whopping 104 points!

My 60 year old father also made his Bungalow debut. His team, comprised of his sister, my brother and my future sister in law, earned third place. Will he be coming back to cash in his $50 Bungalow gift card prize? Or should he stick to his Bungalow trucker hat? Peep the photo for some style info! 

Unfortunately, I will not be hosting at the Bungalow next week due to a conflict. I'll miss seeing my weekly players, but know the sub will surely be a delight and I can't wait to be back in two weeks! See you then! 

QUIZ RECAP

Did you know the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest bar day of the year? Well that sure rang true at The Bungalow on Wednesday. 

We had 10 competitive teams join us for seven rounds of trivia. The questions certainly stumped some teams this week, but what better way to impress your hometown high school friends than demonstrating your intellect at local pub trivia?! 

Though the questions were teetering on the more challenging side, our teams still enjoyed the whole game. Our teams were stacked with strong competitors powered by flowing drinks to slide our players into the extended holiday weekend. 

Unlike some weeks, there wasn't a clear cut winner through most of the game as the three teams on the podium switched places many times. However, heading into round 7, a few teams double downed and ended up prevailing, bumping some front-runners off the podium and claiming the Top 3 spots. Who knew that so many teams knew the 11 countries featured at Walt Disney World's Epcott Center. 

It was a fun round of King Trivia and once we wrapped up, we cleared the furniture, brought in the DJ, set up the dance floor and boogied our way into the holiday weekend. See you next week!
