About The Pizza Press - Northridge

The Pizza Press is elevating the ‘build your own pizza’ concept by creating an immersive environment filled with ambiance, service, and, of course, pizza. Our theme, inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper, harkens back to the industrialized era when newspapers were the foundation of the local community. We encourage you to craft your story by “publishing” a pizza or choosing one of our signature pizzas named after major American newspapers such as “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”, to name a few.

 

Founded in 2012 and based in Anaheim, California, The Pizza Press is a rapidly growing brand with over 30 locations nationwide.

We had it all-- ice cream sandwiches, free rounds of drinks from our wonderful host, Pizza Press Manager Mike (who also won a beer chugging contest in .00001 seconds), lots of laughs, old faces, new faces, and a GREAT GAME!

Quizlamic State took an early lead with a successful double or nothing in the 2nd round, but Mark Ruffalo's Buffalo Ruffalos really gave them a run for their money, and slowly gained on them up until an exciting final round!

We sadly said goodbye to one of our regular teammates from The Young Ones Tonight, and we couldn't be more pleased that he spent his final night with us before moving to Pittsburgh!!

 

The Young Ones and It's Raining both did a SUPREME job singing their rain songs for the drinking round-- though It's Raining decided to imbibe on a cookie rather than a drink tonight. More for the rest of us!

We had a lot of exciting newcomers this week! Including a priest! It was a great group-- full of energy, just radiating out of their pores.

Rogers Circus won our "say 'Happy New Year' in another language" drinking round with a gorgeous "Xin Nian Kuai Le!"

And in an exciting climax, the J Lo's won the final round tie-breaker for 3rd place-- sorry Young Lauren! You'll get them next time.
