About The Pizza Press - Northridge

The Pizza Press is elevating the ‘build your own pizza’ concept by creating an immersive environment filled with ambiance, service, and, of course, pizza. Our theme, inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper, harkens back to the industrialized era when newspapers were the foundation of the local community. We encourage you to craft your story by “publishing” a pizza or choosing one of our signature pizzas named after major American newspapers such as “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”, to name a few.

 

Founded in 2012 and based in Anaheim, California, The Pizza Press is a rapidly growing brand with over 30 locations nationwide.

It was a rowdy night at the Pizza Press, with old-timers, newcomers, and plenty of holiday cheer!

Rogers Circus +3 won the drinking round with teammate Kelly's ASTOUNDING impression of Santa Claus (including props, a full plot, and a member of another team), AND ultimately came back in round 6 to clinch the whole game BY ONE POINT!

Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!!

Sadly no one took up Pizza Press Manager Mike's offer for a spicy pizza eating contest tonight-- BUT, he wants to remind everyone that the offer still stands. So, if you think you have what it takes to eat an entire pizza covered in fresh habenero, Tabasco and lots of other crazy spicy toppings, come by next Tuesday at 8PM for some trivia and hot HOT heat!!

Build it They Will Come took the lead on December 11th, with our friends Rogers Circus and Han Solo coming up right behind them. Spiderverse was 1 point away from placing-- and he came in round 4!! He says he'll be coming back next week from round 1 to show us what he's really made of.

SO. MUCH. HAPPENED. What an incredible night! The fantastic Pizza Press manager Mike announced that he wanted to have a spicy pizza eating contest during the drinking round-- and boy, did we ever. It was an incredible showdown between Mike and Chicken Nuggets team member Jacob-- who ended up sweating and crying too hard to finish his pizza, but was rewarded with several chocolate milks for his hard effort and burning mouth. Then Mike made everyone funnel fries and ice cream and we had a fantastic showdown in the final rounds that changed the entire course of the game-- the worksheet round knocked our 1st place team to 4th!

A merry time was had by all! Thanks for playing!
