About The Pizza Press - Northridge

The Pizza Press is elevating the ‘build your own pizza’ concept by creating an immersive environment filled with ambiance, service, and, of course, pizza. Our theme, inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper, harkens back to the industrialized era when newspapers were the foundation of the local community. We encourage you to craft your story by “publishing” a pizza or choosing one of our signature pizzas named after major American newspapers such as “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”, to name a few.

 

Founded in 2012 and based in Anaheim, California, The Pizza Press is a rapidly growing brand with over 30 locations nationwide.

An absolutely epic last night with our amazing friend, Pizza Press Manager Mike. Mike has always brought nothing but incredible energy, hilarity and endless fun to our trivia nights.

Last night, we had tons of drinking contests, free rounds of alcohol, delicious pizza, and some tears (cough MINE cough).

Mike is a person who always goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone in the room is eating, drinking and having the time of their life. There is so much we can all learn from him.

We didn't have a PA system but that didn't stop us from a having a great night of trivia!

The night's rounds went out of order as we started with the round 2 picture handout and the round 7 matching handout.

During the picture round, Oscar De La Bob doubled down but got one wrong earning them only two points for having a registered team.

Every team got the matching round perfectly correct, but only Oscar De La Bob had the guts to double down.

After the picture rounds, we headed back to round one which at this point was actually round 3. Are you still with me? Good.

Keanu Memes and Oscar both doubled down keeping them within three points of each other.

Due to the odd nature of the night's game round 4 and the drinking round were cut for time.

Round 7 was the only round that happened at its actual round and all teams got four right answers. The night ended with Oscar De The Bob taking home the prize.

A good-sized house showed up for pizza, craft beer, and trivia!

Despite honoring their namesake by showing up late, Late Brigade, who only scored 2 points in round 1, had a perfect round 2 earning them 16 points! They were far from the only ones to do so! In fact, five of the teams doubled down successfully!

It took all the teams until the 6-point clue to correctly guess Kevin Costner for the guess who round.

The "Guess the TV show Theme" drinking round was broken out again and Oscar de la Bob got every single one right!

At the end of the night, Roleplaying Being Smart found themselves not needing to roleplay winning as they got first place!
