About The Pizza Press - Northridge

The Pizza Press is elevating the ‘build your own pizza’ concept by creating an immersive environment filled with ambiance, service, and, of course, pizza. Our theme, inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper, harkens back to the industrialized era when newspapers were the foundation of the local community. We encourage you to craft your story by “publishing” a pizza or choosing one of our signature pizzas named after major American newspapers such as “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”, to name a few.

 

Founded in 2012 and based in Anaheim, California, The Pizza Press is a rapidly growing brand with over 30 locations nationwide.

When only 3 teams play, we know that everyone will place, but the spotlight is MUCH brighter on the final scores!

We had a killer time watching Pizza Press Manager Mike win one of his famed beer drinking contests (honestly, I don't know why people still go up against him, but it's my absolute favorite thing to watch), and we even had a live DJ hitting us with airhorn sfx.

Great job to our 3 teams!! You're all winners to me!

The Pizza Press was full of love, cheer and fresh hot pizza last night!

The game was one was a back and forth, up and down, side to side wild ride! To double or nothing or NOT to double or nothing? THAT was the ultimate debacle for most teams. My answer is nearly always NO! BUT, last night was an interesting case.

It paid off wonderfully for the teams that did it early on, were most people's downfalls mid-game, and completely won the game for The Burning Tree Bullfrogs in the end.

So what's the lesson here?

Someone should have ordered the fun fries. And that someone was me.
