About The Pizza Press - Northridge

The Pizza Press is elevating the ‘build your own pizza’ concept by creating an immersive environment filled with ambiance, service, and, of course, pizza. Our theme, inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper, harkens back to the industrialized era when newspapers were the foundation of the local community. We encourage you to craft your story by “publishing” a pizza or choosing one of our signature pizzas named after major American newspapers such as “The Times”, “The Tribune”, and “The Chronicle”, to name a few.

 

Founded in 2012 and based in Anaheim, California, The Pizza Press is a rapidly growing brand with over 30 locations nationwide.

Pizza Press Northridge had their biggest turnout yet last night with possibly one of the most difficult quizzes. Almost everyone was stumped by the Guess Who round until the 2 point clue and the handle round got even our reigning champs! Team TDMA beat Team Ash Ketchup in the end by 1 point in the final round for 1st place. We had a tie for 3rd and team This Is Tuff managed to almost nail the circumfrance of Pluto. A few teams joined a little late in the game, but they're all pretty confident they'll win when they come at the start next time.

With our best scores yet and one successful double down this was our closest game so far! Everyone loved this weeks guess who and handout round. Teams "One is the loneliest nunber" and "Slurpee Shorts" tied for first place with 48 points each, but "One is the loneliest number" aced the tie breaker question for the win!

The second week of King Trivia at the Pizza Press Northridge location was a blast! With 5 teams playing the competition was neck and neck for point totals throughout the entire game. Almost everyone was stumped by this weeks "Guess Who" round and in honor of Stan Lee we did a last man standing elimination of "Marvel Superhero's" for this weeks drinking round. Team Birthday Girl had an impressive comeback in the 6th round leaping into 2nd place. Team The Losers finished one point behind them in 3rd and our champion(s) this week was Team Dirty Birdz. After his team partner left toward the end of the game, the Dirty Birdz stuck around and managed to win the whole thing!
