QUIZ RECAP

The night kicked off with Pizza Press Manager Mike challenging a Pizza Press #1teammate to a water drinking contest -- if the player could chug a water faster than Mike, he would win 2 beers! But, he lost. Womp, womp.

The Porsche's were our young guns of the night (mostly in high school!) and they showed us who was boss with their master paper airplane-throwing skills, winning the drinking round! Which was a cookie round for them!

The 303 Dudes and Booch Clues went head-to-head in the final round tie-breaker, which Booch Clues lost spectacularly (350,000 seconds in The godfather 2?! Get outta here.

AAAAAAND congrats to Oscar de la Bob for winning by like 2938423-0498 points or whatever.

QUIZ RECAP

Great night with 5 veteran teams(KT numbers), 3 newcomers, and 1 not-so-new.

Oscar De la Bob struck first with a double in round 2 and maintained a healthy lead throughout. They missed an opportunity to bury the pack by not doubling in round 5, but were never really threatened.

So the contest really came down to 2nd and 3rd place. Johnny Cash Me Outside held 2nd going into round 4, but a missed guess dropped them back and they just couldn't quite recover. They had one last chance to finish 2nd, but also missed an opportunity for double in rd 5, which sealed their fate. Trivia Vixens, LuLu Squad, and Showtime all seized that rd 4 opportunity and jumped past JCMO.

TV maintained a narrow lead, while Lulu and Show swapped positions for a couple of rounds. However they were tied after rd 6 and matched each other in rd 7, finishing in a tie for 3rd place as TV held on for 2nd.

The tie-breaker question was sports. Lulu guessed too high and Show came within .1 of the correct answer to wrench 3rd place out of their grasp.

Great fun seemed to be had by all. Congrats to Oscar De le Bob!

WOW, did we ever have fun! Lots of cheers, lots of laughs, and lots of PEOPLE! Thanks for coming out, everyone!!

The points were all over the board, and even successful double-or-nothings weren't enough to help certain teams climb to the top of this wild ride.

Low Riderz won the drinking round with their vanity license plate "PIZAPRS" which made me laugh VERY HARD for some reason. Toot it and Booch It came in a close second with "ICANTC".

Big props to everyone for scoring so well in the final science-themed round. But no, U$C Row Team, chlamydia is not on the periodic table of elements.
