Despite our offer to sell you correct answers for $50 a piece (up front, cash only), no one needed them tonight -- everyone scored phenomenally! Understandably, everyone had a tough time matching their historical pairs, but all teams knew their general knowledge, Napoleon Bonaparte, and rhyme connections!
Bartop ended up becoming a one-woman show, but despite the minimal help, she got all my kudos (not the edible kind). Hop On My Jetski took home the third place prize, only one measly point behind second place winners Knobheads. Ultimately, it was Fontana Knowledge that knew their puppets better than anyone else, so that one extra double down ahead of the other teams helped them nab the first place prize.
Fontana Knowledge also won free drinks on me tonight, after I asked everyone to come up with a sixth child invited to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Horace Horndog was kicked out for dry humping too many Oompa Loompas -- no wonder he didn't make it into the family-friendly version!

It was another quiet, intimate night with the Broskis and Knobheads going at it, with newbies Burger Steelers not really knowing what they were doing, but giving it their all and having some fun with it!
Hop On My Broski knew their Mount Fuji facts and Indiana Jones connections, while Knobheads knew their TV narrators and recent kings and queens. Burger Steelers didn't need any help with their TV narrators, but I was happy to throw them a few bones. No one knew their musicals, but my God, I would've been in the same boat if I didn't have the answers right in front of me!
Tonight's drinking round boiled down to how many African countries each person could come up with, and three lucky drinkers got a free round on me. Shout out to Chelsea for keeping those drinks a-comin'!
