It was a battle of the Boondocks regulars tonight, as Hop On My Jetski and Knobheads fought long and hard for their top dog ranking. The scores were close throughout the entire game, with the Knobheads always just being one tiny step behind, and with Jack Skellington being their ultimate demise. Glory to Hop On My Jetski, who took home a bonus $35 gift certificate!
Ohhh, but the night gets better! In celebration of the paw-pular International Cat Day, four crazy cat people who could list the most breeds/species in two minutes got free alcohol during our drinking meownd.
We missed our other teams and patrons who weren't here tonight. There are very few things more important than coming out to play King Trivia, but ensuring you and your loved ones are staying safe during these horrible, uncomfortably close fires definitely overrules a night out. Everyone was a winner tonight! 2+1 went home with a free drink, but it boiled down to Knobheads, Hop On My Jetski, and Hey Yo Douchebags duking it out for the lead. Hop On My Jetski barely kept their lead halfway through the game, when Hey Yo Douchebags snatched their top spot away with Ariana Grande, band, and fictional captain knowledge. But not all hope was lost for Knobheads, as they doubled down in a come-from-behind first place win on knowing their popular Facebook countries!

No one knew their Greek/Egyptian/Marvel/TV gods very well, but let's face it -- your Quizmaster is the only trivia god that matters!
Hop On My Jetski knew their card games very well, and finally went home with a first place gift certificate for the first time in weeks. It hasn't been very often that the Knobheads have to give up their crown, but they still went home with the second place prize. Fontana Knowledge showed up for the first time in a while, held on to the lead for one glorious round, and went home with the third place gift certificate.
Summers brought up the rear, but still got treated to a free cranberry vodka, courtesy of the Quizmaster. And a couple other psychic players from Hop On My Jetski and Fontana Knowledge who rock at this High/Low card game also got treated to a free drink. Cheers, friends!
