Double downs were key to tonight's victory, for they hindered Tyrion (and all his shortness) early on, but had the Knobheads go from being in third place, to smoking Team Lit in the dust!! No matter what, the true winner of the night was Joe for not only winning himself beer, but his whole large team (both in number of people and ridiculous length of their epic name) after launching that paper airplane nearly all the way to the bathroom!

It was a heated filled night with rival teams back at it as always! People knowing trivia and too nervous to get their pens dirty, to paper airplane builders mighty enough to conquer the free beer round! Boondocks was the place to be on a Wednesday night!!

It's always a delight seeing some fresh faces in the crowd! Predators stopped in after a softball game and was pleased to find that even though they were two rounds behind everyone else, they were the third and final team to play, meaning they were guaranteed to go home with something. And TNA was new to the trivia scene, and did surprisingly well for being druuuuunk!
TNA held a brief, but beautiful lead, as I offered extra credit to anyone who could specify which big cat was the largest in the wild. But it didn't take long for Knobheads to catch up, scoring no less than 6 points for each round for the remainder of the game. TNA came close to reclaiming that lead using their Mike Myers knowledge, but were ultimately bested by their comic book character actors.
Jon from Knobheads and Sean from TNA got free drinks on the Quizmaster's tab for demonstrating how well they "got the moves like Jagger" in front of everyone. Predators sat that one out, but at least got bragging rights for knowing more UK cities than anyone else in the bar.
