Tonight's questions were a little tough, but not impossible for our smartypants teams!
Kickass found tonight just too tricky with two people, so they ducked out with grace. This meant Barcheeks' effort started waning, with the mindset that a $10 gift certificate was good enough!
Despite being too chicken to double down on baby albums and rice-themed answers, Team Lit still scored with a $20 gift certificate, and Trevor got a free drink on me for his BudLightBall skills! And despite being too chicken to double down on general knowledge and presidential biographies, Knobheads only needed a baby album double down to take home $30, and a free drink on me, also for his mad BudLightBall talents!
Any heckling from our audience resulted in having to sing a cappella for your gift certificates. I've got viral video gold in my cell phone!

It was a terrible night for Elon Musk clues and "ex" questions, but everyone loved their beastie bands and Pringles flavors!
Bar Cheeks was struggling to keep his third place ranking, but got some help from a few kind souls at the bar. He didn't double down on his Pringles, which would have put him in second place, but he was still happy with his winnings (and insisted Knights of the Square table deliberately let him win).
S+E brought the whole tribe (their picture does not reflect everyone involved), so they won $20 more in Boonbucks than they won the last time they were literally only S and E. And though Knobheads had no double-down opportunities, they still went home with $30 in Boonbucks, to the surprise of, well, not very many people.
Since the Quizmaster drove all the way from Fullerton, which has become Measles Headquarters as of last week, an extra bonus point went to Knights of the Square Table for vaccinating her against them like responsible parents should. Hooray for not catching any diseases from a trivia game!

It was a pretty good night if you knew your old school arcade game characters, Sugar Rays, and foreign McDonald's menu items! The Quizmaster was soooo hoping for a Pulp Fiction "Royale with Cheese" reference on Round 6, but was sorely disappointed. Dommage.
Anyway, Gone To Hell And Back kicked things off right, but were tricked into a double-down mishap by Taizo Hori. They got to redeem themselves with $30 in Boonbucks by throwing a double-down Hail Mary on the "Avengers: Infinity War" deceased. On top of that, a couple members of the squad got free drinks on the Quizmaster's tab for dominating an epic game of High/Low. Anne Frank would've been proud, you guys.
Knobheads' lack of confidence in their Avengers deaths and international McDonald's burgers cost them two double-down opportunities, but they still got to go home with the second place prize of $20 Boonbucks, which isn't anything to be disappointed about. Hop On My Jetski/John Deer/Caterpillar/etc. kicked ass at all things Christoph Waltz related, but it was obvious that a double-down was needed to win anything higher. $10 in Boonbucks it is, and they looked like they had a blast working for it!
Major kudos to the Modeloraters for toughing it out through the entire game! Fourth place doesn't get you much but a handshake, however, their can-do attitude made this game of King Trivia the MOST fun. And reminder to the well-intentioned men -- EVERYTHING is ALWAYS your fault. Sometimes.
