Holy moly, what a turnout at Hyperion Public on Monday night! I don't know if it was the basketball finals or that people were feeling extra smart, but we had 16 teams come to play some humble bar trivia, and it felt great. Perennial do-gooders Fifth Place or Bust placed far beyond fifth, ending in first place. Jason from Kermit Thee Chalamet decided to challenge himself and what a showing, taking second all by his onesy. Our drinking round was particularly fun, with a member from each team telling us the wildest and craziest thing they witnessed in elementary school. Anna from Enormous Bucket of Crabs told us how they would pester their music teacher with recorders, and he told them to, "shove them down their throats until they died." It was the 90s! What a different time! Anyway, hope to see everyone back again next week!

Another great night of trivia at Hyperion Public on Monday night! First place got jostled around quite a bit, but in the end it was Kermit Thee Chalamet who took it all with some impressive double downs near the end. Foink made an impressive showing too, with second place. And long-time-no-see team Noho Farts District won the drinking round, upsetting perennial favorites KTC. Nice job to all the teams!

What a night for trivia at Hyperion Public on Monday! Kermit Thee Chalamet put on the performance of a lifetime, with 6 perfect rounds, and the 7th just nearly as such. Ending a game with 98 points beat their former personal best of 97, so they were happy to say the least. CATIN AMERICA came back from deep with two big doubles to win second place, impressive especially because this was their first time playing. And I gotta give the spirit award to we <3 gmos who nearly blew the roof off the bar when they cheered for their 3rd place win. Shoutout to all teams who came out!
