Another amazing turnout at HP Deli last night and another amazing turnout by Don't Go Jason Waterfalls.  This team has just been absolutely dominating this summer.  The question for other teams is: why even show up at all? 

5th Place or Bust? More like 5th place or just get outta here.

Stepdads Who Vape? More like Stepdads who go out for cigarettes and never come home.

Epstein Was Murdered? More like Epstein...was...murdered no yeah I stand by that one actually.

So the gauntlet has been thrown.  Figure your ish out other teams because DGJW is riding the steamroller to TriviaTown.

I take two weeks off and what happens?  Hordes of trivia-goers turn out to suckle at the teat of my trivia prowess.  What can I say?

The people - they love me.

Don't Go Jason Waterfalls took another incredibly narrow victory last night, just nudging out LLUA with a tie breaker.  They also won the drinking round, for what it's worth, fully cementing their status as current dominating assholes of HP Deli.  And you know what?  They love it.  They're reveling in it.  They got targets on their backs and they're making them bigger and redder every week.  So here's the call out to all the other teams: step up your game.

It was Momo's birthday on Sunday and we had to get a cheer going for him from the crowd, seeing as he puts in so much hard work every single week.  Hats off to you, Momo!

QUIZ RECAP

Monday is Funday at HP Deli & Bar! Just ask first place team Half Pint and second place team Globo-Chem. The drinking round was a competition for doing the best  "Star Wars" character impression. One woman from Person Man Woman Camera TV came up, did Jabba The Hut, no one had the stones to compete with her, and she won drinks for her table. The Force was with us all that night!
