It was all smiles at HP Deli on Monday night as 12 teams headed into the gauntlet for trivia.  But Don't Go Jason Waterfalls was the truest gladiator, and actually stronger with fewer people on their team, doubling down three times in a row to score nearly 100 points!  They ripped the heads off their opponents and head them aloft for the crowd and Caesar to cheer them on, and once those heads were on a pike they could at last celebrate their own triumph.  WHO ARE WE?

Shout out goes to Globo-Chem who have steadily climbed the charts, week after week, in search of their elusive victory!  Last night they clutched the win in their hands, after many, many games of trivia.  They doubled on Round 7 knowing info about a band they don't even like, and that, my friends, is the hallmark of a true trivia player.  Second place went to 5th Place or Bust, who is having a remarkable showing now that we're back from the pandemic.  They must have been studying while trapped indoors all this time.  Good job teams!

And that's what makes all the teams at Hyperion so great: the willingness to have some fun!  Don't Go Jason Waterfalls takes having fun to the next level, by annihilating the competition and demoralizing their rivals.  They did a major come from behind with some mega back to back doubles, along with Obnox shooting up from the middle of the pack.  Shout outs to them, and to Stepdads Who Vape for losing the tie breaker for the drinking round, after Demi from Team August straight up told Darren that he was going to shoot scissors and did.  Dude was deep in his head!
