Man, I really gotta start checking the weather before I leave for trivia. It was 9000 degrees when I left my house in the valley and by 8 pm in Silver Lake it was freezing.
ANYWAY...
Shoutout to all the teams that made it out to HP Deli last night to play some trivia. Periodic Table Dancers played their damn hearts out and it showed, taking home a first place that had been eluding them for some time. Second place went to Stepdads Who Vape, who used double downs to their advantage. And Don't Go Jason Waterfalls won the drinking round in a rock paper scissors tie breaker so it was pretty much business as usual!

What a showing at HP Deli last night, as 15 teams yanked in as many friends as possible to compete for the top prize! After two rounds, three teams were tied with perfect scores, but as the night went on Foink emerged as the obvious leaders. But it wasn't until rounds 5 and 6 that Fifth Place or Bust doubled in each and sailed right past everyone to the top. Doesn't hurt either that it was Joey's birthday and they tried to bribe me with $600 for a victory. They won despite thinking Philadelphia is the capital of Pennsylvania, which is incredibly embarassing, tbh. It doesn't matter, ultimately, because Joey got a $30 gift card and a night he'll never forget!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Despite the weird weather earlier in the day, 10 teams showed up to HP Deli to play trivia last night! It was Obnox who took first place, after doubles in rounds 2, 5, and 6. Talk about confidence! After a tie breaking battle for second, Omaroasting walked away with second place. And none other than Fioink Against the Dream won the drinking round, so victories were spread out all over the venue. 'Grats all around!
