You can't make these stories up! This was the closest game of King Trivia that Idle Hour had ever seen. From the jump, two teams locked horns in a tie that would shake the very foundations of our barrel-shaped battlefield. Poor Things (aka Bark Ruffalo) took on Breakfast All Day with double after double after double. While Trivial Pursuit maintained a comfortable distance, these two titans raged against one another like waves against rocks, hoping to wear the other down. It took until the final moments in a tie-breaker finale to settle the score.
Special props to A Dog!! for winning the drinking round with their spot on Kalhua knowledge.

QUIZ RECAP
An inspiring showing for the veteran teams of Idle Hour. With the skies in a full on downpour, they donned their raincoats and galoshes to venture down the roaring rapids and compete in the greatest of all competitions: KING TRIVIA!
Our tempestuous teams tied the top spot for three rounds, but Bernie Maximus came to play with some healthy doubles. By the end of the first half, they seemed a sure bet.
We honored National Cherry Pie Day with our Drinking Round, which went to Sober Bartenders for knowing the most words to the song Cherry Pie!
As the second half came to a close, Trivial Pursuit snuck in with an epic double to steal the lead…and they held their ground til the end.

QUIZ RECAP
Happy Valentine’s Day Eve from Idle Hour! With love in the air, it only made sense for the King to descend from his throne and bestow upon the hapless denizens of NoHo the greatest of all trivia shows. That’s right, friends. KING TRIVIA was in the house, and the roof was quite literally* on fire.
The first half of the game was spent in a dead heat as no fewer than four teams locked themselves in first place with double after double. As we rounded into the half, We’re the Problem managed to squeak in ahead and earn the first shot at the gold.
For our drinking round, we asked the teams to write the perfect pun-filled Valentine’s Day card. The Bugle snagged it with “Are you Microsoft Excel, because you’re a freak in the sheets.”
Our final half was a tale of doubles spent and doubles wasted, of love and loss, and of the power held by Nintendo’s iconic brawler. It was an epic return for some, and a dramatic fall for others. It all ended with an amazing tie-breaker for 2nd and 3rd.
