The house was packed! We started out with a whopping 16 teams. Everyone came out to Mikkeller's where the fun and beer was flowing. Towards the end the scores got close. Oedipus and the Motherfuckers went head to head with Big Dicta Energy for the majority of the night, but in the 5th and 6th round the Regulators, Mount Up! pulled ahead with 2 Double or Nothing's in a row! WOW! My Neck, My Back, My Fishtube and My Crack also pulled ahead with a Double on Round 5. The night ended with a tie for 2nd and 3rd, Regulator's winning the tie breaker, and Oedipus and the Motherfuckers taking it all by one point! What an evening!

It's hot outside and maybe that's what kept the masses away from Mikkeller DTLA this Tuesday... FYI, Mikkeller has air condition and AMAZING beer. The 7 teams that did come out were definitely up to the King Trivia task. For the first time in Mikkeller history, not a single team decided to Double Down. Beefy Koefeefee Queefy took the Trivia championship with a one-point victory over Collusion's Not a Crime. Third place went to Make Trivia Great Again (rad name) who was able to correctly answer the all-important tie-breaking question with @FoxandFriends. This trivia host is off to Europe but that won't stop trivia from happening at Mikkeller DTLA next Tuesday at 7:30pm. See ya soon!!!

The house was packed but not for the trivia host's birthday... everyone was at Kaffebaren - part of Mikkeller DTLA for an epic night of King Trivia. 12 teams began the trivia quest but only 3 were able to reign supreme. BIG DICTA ENERGY was a newcomer and was able to use their rookie luck to propel themselves into 3rd place. Mr. Rodgers Didn't Die for This only needed two team members to finish in 2nd place and took home 2 FREE four-packs of beer. To the victory go the spoils and Bacon on the Side not only won the all-important beer round, they also climbed to the top of the King Trivia mountain and claimed the Trivia Championship.
