It was scorching hot outside and trivia battle inside Mikkeller DTLA was equally as hot. Pudendal Steal came to play for the first time and had an amazing run of rookie luck / skill. Not only did they win the beer round via a tie-breaker, they also used President Millard Fillmore to propel them to a one-point victory over Regulators Mount Up (second) and Bacon on the Side (third). We'll be sure to keep the AC running and the beers flowing next Tuesday at 7:30pm. Can't wait to see ya there.

Downtown LA was abuzz after the Downtown Newspaper featured King Trivia at Mikkeller on their cover. The brewery was packed on Tuesday to see what was brewing. The game was tight throughout but Regulators Mount Up doubled-down early and often and managed to Risk their way to the top of the leaderboard. As if a championship wasn't enough, they also took home a priceless Mikkeller canvas print from the beer can artist himself. Only a 3-point basket behind was Bacon on the Side, who just wasn't crispy enough but managed to grease their way into second place. Third place came down to a tie-breaker between Illogical Logic and Einstein's Gone Fission. Illogical Logic was able to nudge Einstein into fourth place but both teams ended up with free beer, as Einstein won the FREE beer round. More fun, less horrible newspaper cover photos, and FREE beer continues next Tuesday at Mikkeller DTLA. Can't wait to see y'all there.
