Check out the epic photos from an epic Tuesday night of King Trivia at Mikkeller in DTLA. 11 teams entered the World Cup of trivia and yet only 3 took home the bragging the rights. Illogical Logic doubled down on the final round to take the championship. F*ck Art this is Trivia only fell a few goals short and ended up in second. Third place was stolen from MVP^2 by Bacon on the Side, who answered the tie-breaking question correctly (they know their golden gate meters). Everyone in attendance had a blast and all of the winners took home FREE BEER. That's right FREE BEER. If you want to win FREE BEER, head to Mikkeller DTLA next Tuesday. Yay for FREE BEER!!!

Whoa Nelly. Mikkeller DTLA was absolutely packed for King Trivia this past Tuesday. Many many many arrived, drank great beer, ate fabulous food, laughed, and cried. Even though everyone left smiling, only 3 teams walked away with prizes. The game was close throughout with a handful of teams battling out in the top 5. Trauma Mama refused to register for a team number (2+ bonus points) and that's what ultimately cost them the championship. The NTMBs doubled down in the final round and ended up with 66 total points, one point more than Trauma Mama and 6 points more than Trivia Chads. Fun fun fun fun was had by all. Hope everyone returns next Tuesday for another trivia battle of epic entertainment proportions

Doubling down is usually the way to victory... just not this Tuesday at Mikkeller DTLA. Only six teams were able to make it to Mikkeller the day after a three day weekend and not a single team attempted a double-down. The trivia battle was tight throughout. There was a three-way tie for 4th place and third place was two points ahead. Everyone learned plenty of Valyrian phrases thanks to "Shouts in Valyrian" who took third place. Second place was corralled by Directors of Reality (comprised of a Brit, an Aussie, and an American). This week's champion was a team of one, Philly Angelenos, who only needed a single point to separate himself from the pack. It's amazing how much useless knowledge that you gain while attending MIT and Duke. Can't wait to see y'all next Tuesday at 7:30pm for some great brews and even better trivia brouhaha.
