Doubling down was the key to the game this Tuesday at KaffeBarren inside of Mikkeller DTLA. Diarrhea of Anne Frank doubled down 3x and held onto the lead throughout the night. Things got closer when 3 teams doubled down in round 6, but it wasn't enough to catch the Diarrhea of Anne Frank. There was a 2-point difference between every team from 2nd to 6th place. Fourteen Eyes ended in 2nd with the help of their NASA scientist. While, Bacon on the Side finished in 3rd, only 2-points behind. Great prizes and great beer will be up for grabs next week. For the first time at King Trivia at Kaffebarren inside Mikkeller DTLA, every team got every answer correct in the first round. 10 of 11 teams decided to double down. O&O was the only team to double down in round two and they rode their back-to-back doubles across the finish line in first place. Bacon on the side finished a jump shot (2-points) behind them for second. And Illogical Logic finished a layup (2-points) behind them for third. The beer round went to Menace II Sobriety who correctly answered every question perfectly for the first ever Survey Slam beer round at Mikkeller DTLA. Can't wait to do it all again next Tuesday. This Tuesday of King Trivia at Mikkeller DTLA (inside Kaffebaren) came down to the final round. It was a back-and-forth battle with every team in contention down to the very end. Antonio Brown's Wild Ride doubled-down their way into a third place victory in the final round. Bacon on the Side also propelled themselves into a tie for first with Phallus in Wonderland. It all came down to the tiebreaking question for the championship. How many minutes of run time was Best Picture winner, Green Book? Phallus guessed 132 and Bacon guessed 133. 130 was the answer and Phallus in Wonderland edged out Bacon on the side for the victory. Can't wait until next Tuesday.
