10-teams were in attendance this past Tuesday at Mikkeller in DTLA. Word is beginning to get out that not only is Mikkeller's beer amazing... so to is their Tuesday night trivia. The first double-down didn't happen until round 3 and there was not another one until round 5. The scoring was close throughout but Mikkeller Instinct took home the gold. Bring Back $3.50 Dos Equis and The Cat's Pajamas (a one-man team) tied for the silver medal but $3.50 Dos Equis won the tie-breaker. The real battle was for last place, where It's Okay We're Trying to Lose... did just that. Cheers to all. See you next week.

The word has gotten out that King Trivia on Tuesday is an absolute blast. 9 teams bellied up to the Mikkeller DTLA bar, all with an eye on the prize. Menace II Sobriety took it to the house from the outset and successfully doubled-down 4x (including in the beer round and the final round) to pick up the double win. The difference between second and third place was only one point but that point belonged to House Beerathian. Third place ended in a tie until Illogical Logic was able to break away from Old News with a tie-breaking squeaker. Rest up, King Trivia next Tuesday is going to be a blast.

Small but mighty was the crowd on Tuesday night at Mikkeller in DTLA. Only 4 teams participated but all of them went home a winner. Make Up Your Mind took home the beer round after besting We've Been Robbed by only two seconds. We've Been Robbed was able to mount a comeback and took third place over Make Up Your Mind by only one point. Second place went to Barbara Bush's Failed Abortion Caused 9/11 who also won by only one point. The Championship and the bragging rights that come with it, went to Regulators Mount Up who ended the night with a 5-point lead. Not a single double down for any team in any round.
