Every night at Rasselbock is exceptional, but Trivia Night always brings something special. Tonight, numerous teams from around the city converged to battle on the Quiztastic Gridiron. Veterans and newbies alike sought out the coveted title of Trivia Titan, but only one could win.
Special props have to be given to Couchicali. They came for a night of dinner, only to find themselves in the middle of a brutal Trivia throw down. They bravely jumped in, quickly catching up to the other teams and even taking a spot on the leaderboard after Round 5.
But it was the incredible duo at You Don't Know Jackalopes bringing round after round of powerhouse trivia answers. They took the lead early on and never let go. In fact, after 7 rounds, they hadn't been knocked from First Place.
The Gruesome Twosome, a veteran team from another location, fought hard to win second place. Team Artemis, always stalwart champions, raged on for third.
But it was the Heroes of Canton, longtime veterans of Rasselbock, stealing the tray of potato pancakes during the Appetizer Round. Their knowledge of all things Bowling (or perhaps just solid guesses) put them above the pack.
Come down next Tuesday for another round of intense trivia action!
It was a fine, quiet night out at Rasselbock. The kind of night that was just begging for a little Trivia action. As it turns out, that's exactly the kind of evening we had in store for our competitors.
Veteran teams Sorority of Satan, Heroes of Canton, and Sassy Capri (formerly Rufus) all showed up with grudges to settle and answers to jot down. Alongside three newbie teams, they set to battling with round after round of neck and neck point swapping.
During the Appetizer Round, we opted to pay homage to the king of indoor flight: the Paper Airplane. The team that flew the furthest claimed the coveted potato pancakes. In this case, it was the aviation geniuses over at First Place taking the prize!
As the final round approached, Sorority's lead dwindled to just a few points. Everything came down to the wire, with the teams finishing only a few answers off from each other. In the end, though, Sorority maintained their victory and took the first place gift card.
Come on down to Rasselbock, where the beer is cold, the food is hot, and the trivia is downright smoking. Tuesdays at 9PM!

Rasselbock is known for many things: great food, amazing beer, the best staff this side of the Mississippi. But tonight, it was all about the Trivia. Ten teams, some hastily assembled onsite, gathered for two hours of intense, world-shaking quizzing. Only the strong survived.
The first few rounds went at a breakneck speed, with each team boldly throwing around Double Downs with wild abandon. We had three and four-way ties across the leaderboard, and it was hard to see how to break the scores.
Then came a wild, marshmallow-filled Appetizer Round. Each team took a turn tossing puffed sugar into the air, using only their mouth-eye-coordination to land a successful goal. Heroes of Canton earned the coveted Potato Pancakes, and suddenly the game shifted.
Scores rose and plummeted, with teams suddenly beset by huge knowledge gaps. Jackalopes, once a heavy favorite, dropped further and further behind. Meanwhile, Canton and Shnitz drew neck and neck with no end in sight.
The final round decided the victor, as it so often does. The Heroes of Canton knew a little more about Matt Damon than the competition, sneaking a single point ahead to secure their victory.
Rasselbock will be launching their Oktoberfest celebration on September 21st, but King Trivia is every Tuesday night at 9PM! Come join in the fun.
