About The Lab Gastropub

The science of fun and fine dining is artfully executed daily at The Lab Gastropub. Conveniently located on Figueroa Blvd., The Lab is next door to the Galen Center, across the street from USC and an easy walk to the Shrine Auditorium, the Los Angeles Coliseum and the museums at Expo Park. Our menu features a variety of pub favorites and an extensive selection of beers. The communal style seating encourages group fun. You’ll always find local sports as well as national events featured on the multiple screens throughout the restaurant. The Classroom, our private dining room, is ideal for social events and the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the SoCal sunshine.

Thanks to the staff and the folks at the Lab for another fun and exciting trivia night! I always look forward to 7pm on Wednesday so I can run the Trivia for the Lab and laugh with everyone over terrible answers and sudden score ups and downs. Tonight Drunk In Public dominated with a crazy high score of 66 points. The Lab would never forget national tequila day so Drunk in Public took home an amazing gift basket of Camarena Tequila, Shirts, and Glasses and a Shaker. Talk about a hell of a prize! Gummy Bears followed up in Second at 52 points and Gaspers performed fantastically for a first time team scoring 34 points! Thanks to everyone for making my Wednesday evenings so fun and I'll see everyone next Wednesday at 7pm!

Talk about a blow up! The Lab this week was absolutely packed and Trivia was packed with prize seekers. There were a myriad of new teams but it was our veterans who managed to secure the top trivia spots this week. Drunk in Public took a bitter sweet revenge by winning first but their nemesis Gummy Bears was nowhere to be seen tainting the taste of victory. Sofa King Smart swooped into second place with some strategic new recruits to their roster and 300 Buildings took a tough 3rd one point behind 2nd. All in all it was a great night with fun teams and excellent drinks, and there's not much more that anyone could ask for. I will see everyone back at the Lab at 7pm Wednesday for more excellent trivia!

Our veteran teams of the Lab battled it out once more this Wednesday. Two trivia titans cutting the games so closely with their over 50 point scores every time. But this didn't intimidate newcomers Sofa Smart who played a valiant game nonetheless. Their determination was apparent and this Quizmaster thinks that there might be a new trivia veteran coming to play at the Lab. When the smoke cleared from this weeks trivia it was Gummy Bears who had taken the W this time, but we all know that Drunk In Public will be back for their revenge.
