About The Lab Gastropub

The science of fun and fine dining is artfully executed daily at The Lab Gastropub. Conveniently located on Figueroa Blvd., The Lab is next door to the Galen Center, across the street from USC and an easy walk to the Shrine Auditorium, the Los Angeles Coliseum and the museums at Expo Park. Our menu features a variety of pub favorites and an extensive selection of beers. The communal style seating encourages group fun. You’ll always find local sports as well as national events featured on the multiple screens throughout the restaurant. The Classroom, our private dining room, is ideal for social events and the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the SoCal sunshine.

"Life is not about how many breaths you take, but about how many moments that take your breath away", and the The Lab continues to take my breath away each week! The Lab has also become the newest birthday celebration place, last night we celebrated another special birthday and it was for Christian who is also a wonderful, hard-working staff member at The Lab! These birthday celebrations are also bringing in tons of new people, new participants and new members for King Trivia which is absolutely fabulous. Each round was full of fun and I was surrounded with such great vibes and love per usual. I am beyond excited to have more rich experiences at The Lab because they are never anything less. I am always eager to see what new breaths I get to take and moments that change my life forever, while taking my breath away here at The Lab!

Wonderful Wednesday's continue to be wonderful here at the Lab! Our night started off with a great general knowledge round and continued to spin into ultimate surprise during round 3 which was all about superstitions. I literally had a blast with round 3 because I love learning about superstitious traditions and how they came about, I was surprised so many teams chose to double down on that round. Then as the night progressed, the teams all took a spiral on an up and down rollercoaster! The results definitely varied no one knew who would end on top, however it was an extremely close call. At the end of the last round, the night was totally as wonderful as it had started with laughs and smiles all around the room. Our first place winners decided to double their points at the end and they doubled for trouble! Great time per usual at The Lab, definitely looking forward to another Wonderful Wednesday! See those beautiful faces soon!

Wonderful Wednesday's continue to take place at The Lab and every single week it seems as if something beautiful takes place. This Wednesday, we had a small celebration for Jasmine's birthday which is always the best kind of celebration because its the celebration of life and seeing someone have another awesome opportunity and year to grace the world with their presence. The Lab is always a celebration honestly, I could not imagine where else in the world someone would want to be because there is no other place that could top the wonderful weekly interactions held here at the Lab. The final round had us all at the edge of our seats as usual. The scores were all pretty neck to neck, and the last round is usually the "make or break" round which also makes me sweat as I calculate all the final scores. I make sure all participants know that they are great and can achieve anything because trivia scores don't justify how great of a person you are and every week they have a new opportunity to do better than the last which is the power of trivia. People who think alike all come together weekly and not only is that wonderful it's a room full of brilliance and it feels exceptional. I can't wait to see all your beautiful faces next Wednesday because I already know to expect wonderful vibes and greatness.
