About The Lab Gastropub

The science of fun and fine dining is artfully executed daily at The Lab Gastropub. Conveniently located on Figueroa Blvd., The Lab is next door to the Galen Center, across the street from USC and an easy walk to the Shrine Auditorium, the Los Angeles Coliseum and the museums at Expo Park. Our menu features a variety of pub favorites and an extensive selection of beers. The communal style seating encourages group fun. You’ll always find local sports as well as national events featured on the multiple screens throughout the restaurant. The Classroom, our private dining room, is ideal for social events and the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the SoCal sunshine.

What a great humpday at Lab Gastropub. I had the pleasure of hosting there for the first time, and it was blast. It was hard to tell from the start who was going to win, the scores were all over the place, with 3-way ties, catch-ups, catsup, ketchup, mustard, the works! But in the end, here's where they all ended up: Drunk In Public took first place and got a $30 gift card, Uranus Is a Gas Giant came in second and received a $20 gift card, and Quiz In My Pants placed third and got a $10 gift card. Special thanks to the rest of the teams that joined us for the fun, and did their best and came very close to the prize: Gummy Bears and Fiv, as well as Menace to Sobriety, and Skol who went double or nothing on round 7 for sake of catching up, but that giraffe, dang it, it just wasn't part of the Stauffer animal crackers. So that left them out of gas, sad to say. But hopefully they'll redeem themselves next Wednesday, and hope you join us at the Lab Gastropub too! I had such a great time at trivia last night and I hope all my teams did too! The Lab was busy last night, and the busier the bar, the hotter the competition. It was an incredibly close game this night between all our teams, veterans and rookies alike. We had new team Dammat take 1st place barely only 4 points ahead of second place winners Quiz in my Pants. Third place had three teams all within one point of each other, but it was Who Punched Palpatine who took home the prize. Thanks to everyone for coming out and I'm excited to see you all next Wednesday at 7pm at the Lab for King Trivia!

Thanks to everyone who came out for King Trivia at the Lab this Wednesday! It was a blast playing with you all and I loved seeing the vicious rivalries forming. That's what trivia is all about right? Drinks and "friendly" competition. This week the Badasses made a return from their dusty travels to swoop first place with a devastating 60 points. Team Cobras are still looking for their big break, but took home an honorable second place nonetheless. Lastly, Team Burlington Cheese Coat Factory followed Cobras by only 3 points and took home the third place prize. I hope to see all my teams again next week at 7pm for King Trivia at the Lab!
