About The Lab Gastropub

The science of fun and fine dining is artfully executed daily at The Lab Gastropub. Conveniently located on Figueroa Blvd., The Lab is next door to the Galen Center, across the street from USC and an easy walk to the Shrine Auditorium, the Los Angeles Coliseum and the museums at Expo Park. Our menu features a variety of pub favorites and an extensive selection of beers. The communal style seating encourages group fun. You’ll always find local sports as well as national events featured on the multiple screens throughout the restaurant. The Classroom, our private dining room, is ideal for social events and the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy the SoCal sunshine.

This Wednesday we had 5 teams competing for the top prize. Veteran teams Badass and Gummy Bears eyed the newcomers, wary of any secret trivia masters. However, the game began with every team getting 5 points, setting up quite the rivalry between all the teams. It was a close run all game, the newcoming teams defending their right to trivia with aplomb. However, it was team Badass, eking out a victory by a slim margin of only 3 points who took home the grand prize of $30 to the Lab tonight. Thanks to all my teams for coming to play and I hope to see you all next Wednesday at 7pm at the Lab.

Four teams entered spooky trivia, and only three came out victorious. This week we had 4 jumbo sized teams playing against each other for a night of Spooky questions and haunting trivia. Turns out that our teams know less about All Hallow's Eve than they might have thought. Team Two Ravens came in at 30 points taking home the 3rd place prize of $10. Not bad for first time players. And the final two ran a tight race the entire game through, but ultimately Team Badass was just one point spookier this night and beat team Scandals with 39 points to their 38. Thanks all my teams for playing and I hope to see you all at non-spooky trivia next week 7pm, at the Lab!

What a fantastic night at the Lab! We were fortunate enough to partner with Tik Tok for even more prizes and awards in addition to our regular prizes so it was definitely a night to be at the Lab. The trivia was deadly fierce as well, with teams taking and losing the lead each round until finally it was Mmmmmmm.... Badass at the top of the pack with a whopping 67 points. Then with an incredibly clutch final round double down, Backyardigans pulled second place with 55 points, while Gummy Bears were left nursing their wounds at 51 points. Drinking, trivia, prizes, and a great bar, what more could you ask for? I hope to see all my teams next week at 7pm in the Lab for King Trivia!
