QUIZ RECAP

Quizmaster Yael was filling in for Quizmaster Rebecca, and although only 5 teams competed at The Oaks Tavern's Sunday afternoon Trivia Game, the tavern was loud and lively. 

Handsome B. Wonderful took an early lead and stayed near the top the entire game, but it was Where is the Fire? who were the comeback kids. After a devistating double in the first round leaving them in the bottom, their doubles in Round 5 and 6 took them to first place. Also off to a rough start was Awesome Sauced who shot up to second place by doubling in the final round. 

As for the drinking round, Dickens Chickens and Where is the Fire? were head-to-head with 22 of the items required for "Whats In Your Bag" but it was the unique item of a Cork and Octopus from the ladies of Dickens Chickens which earned them the drinks. 

After the game concluded nearly all the teams joined in to a dance party to "We Didn't Start The Fire" in celebration of Where is the Fire?'s win.

QUIZ RECAP

Sunday was a good game on Father's Day. 

The appropriately-named team Daddy Issues was in the lead by a couple points until round 4, when Awesome Sauced and Homeless Abe Lincoln jumped ahead. 

No one doubled the entire game, with the exception of an unsuccessful double by Homeless Abe Lincoln in Round 6, putting them in last place, with Daddy Issues now in second. 

Daddy Issues also won the drinking round, winning "Name that Tune 2000's edition".

Homeless Abe Lincoln was in the lead the entire night, thanks to a double in Round 3. 

Handsome B Wonderful and Where is the Fire went back and forth for 2nd, with Handsome B Wonderful pulling ahead in Round 7 with one extra correct answer. 

Homeless Abe Lincoln also won the drinking round, which was "Name that Tune - Country".
