The Chargers' stunning victory wasn't the only big win of the night! Four teams came down to the Oaks for a small but rousing evening. The lead changed hands several times throughout the night and teams were tied for multiple rounds as well.

Awesome Sauced was perfect during the picture round, correctly identifying all the focus Peters, but didn't check the double-or-nothing box.

Gidney & Cloyd was the only team to get Doris Day right before the 2 point clue during the guess who round.

Round 5 saw all teams but Gidney & Cloyd double successfully during the guess the connection round.

By the night's end, Get The Jazzhands Back Together took home the win in a well-earned victory.

Sunday was another banger of a trivia, with teams shaking off their Thanksgiving food comas and stepping into the world of question and answers! It was a small turn out but with a ton of positive inter-team communication and tomfoolery, the night felt lively as ever!

While Jazz Hands broke away from the pack early, rarely looking back on their course to a victory of 59 points which netted them the $30 gift cirtificate, two teams My Fridge and The Big Fact Hunt remained within three, count 'em, three points of each other for the entirety of the match until the last question. Though behind, Big Fact Hunt came within one point of tying the second place My Fridge when Fridge answered incorrectly on Round 4, losing them one point, and Fact Hunt answered the two pointer correctly. Big Fact Hunt was able to maintain a solid position and ended up getting third place!

The drinking round was a doozy, with teams answering a "Cards Against Humanity" question, "the more I practice ___, the better I get at _____" the answers for which were too spicy to put here. Let's just say the My Fridge's winning response was so off the wall, your's truly couldn't even say it out loud!

Another great Sunday night of trivia and another truly wonderful group of teams! Congrats to the teams that played, and the wonderful Oaks staff for their help. Can't wait to see what next Sunday has in store!

On Sunday night The Oaks Tavern was full of people, all of whom had two things in common-a love of trivia competition, and a desire to keep the weekend alive as long as possible. A total of five teams competed for gift certificates to The Oaks, and also for shots for everyone on their team.

For the Drinking Round, each team sent up one player to do a celebrity impersonation. The best one would win the shots! We were treated to impersonations of Super Mario, Macho Man Randy Savage, Will Ferrell and Britney Spears. Picking a winner wasn't easy, but after careful deliberation with the Oaks' staff, the prize went to The Big Fact Hunt for their member's great imitation of Britney Spears.

The competition between three teams-The Big Fact Hunt, Awesome Sauced and Concentration Champs was tight all night. In the end, Awesome Sauced took third place ($10 gift certificate) with 45 points. Concentration Champs finished just ahead of them in second place ($20 gift certificate) with 46. Congratulations to both teams!

Taking first place with 62 points, and winning the $30 gift certificate, was Jazz Hands. They capitalized on two successful Double or Nothings in Rounds 1 and 3! Great job!
