QUIZ RECAP

It was warm late spring evening at Three Weavers as 8 teams joined us tonight for King Trivia!

We had a fun start to the night as the teams answered an interesting array of General Knowledge questions for round 1, and in round 2 teams had to identify the celebrity from the SNL impression for our Picture round.

Round 3 had quite the interesting theme as players answered questions all about ice hockey and cultural depictions o hell, and all of the teams did a phenomenal job guessing the famous former president we were looking for in Round 4, our Guess Who round.

The fun answers kept rolling in in round 5 as teams tried to Find the Connection, and round 6 has them matching the monster to its killer for our Matching round.

After our 7th and final round in which teams had to name their final 10 UK studio albums, Today, I Choose Violence won first place, with Can Someone Help Me winning second place and Urban Achievers winning third!

Overall, it a was a solid night of King Trivia with a great mix of new and returning teams at Three Weavers!

It was a warm and busy night at Three Weavers as 12 teams joined us for King Trivia!

We kicked the night off with some General Knowledge in round 1, and we got real “spacey” in round 2 as teams had to identify the film or TV series centered around space.

Round 3 was quite fun as teams answered questions all about Freaky Friday situations and tech moguls, and all of the players did a phenomenal job in round 4 identifying the famous basketball player we were looking for for our Guess Who round.

We had a “spicy” round 5 as teams tried to Find the Connection, and round 6 had them matching the rapper to their group for our Matching round.

After our 7th and final round in which teams had to name the layers of the atmosphere and the 4 most common chemical elements in the Milky Way, Let’s go Dodgers! won first place, with The Grinning Otters coming in second, and KISS MY SHINY METAL ASS coming in third!

Overall, another wonderfully fun night of King Trivia at Three Weavers!

The game started off pretty close with Bitter and Twisted and WPNS with the tie, but as the questions got tougher and tough Bitter and Twisted pulled through and took a bigger lead. The game got more exciting as the questions got tougher and the answers got funnier and funnier.  Team We’re Stinky had a chance but the final question is what set Bitter and Twisted apart. The room was filled with great people and lots of laughs were shared!  

The team names were very interesting tonight, some of the most interesting team names were as follows : “I met a dermatologist with a monocle and glass of champagne”, Its All About the Pets and Every Rose Has Its Brad. The competition was friendly but everyone was eager to win! Looking forward to hosting at this venue again!
