Many new and familiar faces flocked to Three Weavers tonight for King Trivia!

Teams started off strong in round 1 with our general knowledge round, and continued the streak into round 2 where they had to identify the LGBTQ+ icon from the photo for our Picture Round.

Round 3 had players answering questions about video games that became movies and songs that became musicals, and in round 4 I was impressed by the amount of teams that were able to guess the famous person in our Guess Who round within the first few clues!

I got a lot of fun answers in round 5 as teams tried to find the connection betweent the first nine answers, and teams had their Jim Carrey trivia knowledge tested in round 6 as they matched his character to the corresponding film.

The competition was back and forth all night, even as we went into our final round where teams had to guess the top 5 selling beers and top 5 selling whiskeys/bourbons according to Drizly. In the end, we even had a tie! Ultimately, returning winners Gruesome Twosome came away with the win, with Quiz Me Baby One More Time coming in a close second after the tiebreaker and Quizzed in my Pants claiming third!

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight we had 18 fantastic teams brave the incoming heat wave to play King Trivia at Three Weavers tonight!

We had a great start testing our general knowledge in round 1, and teams had way too much fun identifying the mad scientist from the photos in round 2, our picture round.

Round 3 had players answering questions all about coffee and skin care, and we got a fun twist on round 4 where, instead of guessing the famous person, teams had to guess the famous place based on the clues.

All of the most fun answers came rolling in in round 5 as teams tried to find the connection between answers 1 through 9, and then had their film and TV knowledge tested as they matched the character to the actor who portrayed them.

It was an epic battle of ups and downs on the scoreboard all night, but after round 7 where teams had to identify the 5 largest and the 5 smallest countries in the European Union by population, Henry the Hernia emerged as the winners, with returning teams Quiz Me Baby One More Time coming in second and Gruesome Twosome in a close third!

Tonight was a night of fantastic trivia, an absurd amount of laughter and great beer at Three Weavers for King Trivia!
