Twelve teams turned out at Three Weavers for King Trivia!

We got off to a solid start with our general knowledge round, and teams had their Disney knowledge put to the test in round 2 as they had to identify the movie that starred a Disney Princess.

Players had a lot of fun with round 3, a round called X’s and O’s where all the answers contained the letter X or began with the letter O (I never realized how badly I want to see an X-Men musical!).

Round 4, our Guess Who round, had some pretty sharp teams who were quickly able to identify the famous person we were looking for (Sarah Michelle Gellar), and players had a lot of fun with their answers in round 5 as they tried to Find the Connection.

The competition heated up going into round 6 as teams matched the popular YouTube channel to its home country, but after Round 7 where teams had to name 10 of the 14 elements on the periodic table with a single letter as their symbol, Team Karen Bass came away with the win, with Does Anyone REALLY Have Their Life Together in second and Chili Cheese Breeze in a close third!

It was a brisk November night here at Three Weavers as 11 teams showed up for a King Trivia showdown!

Teams set a very fun tone with their answers for round 1, our general knowledge round, and for our picture round they did great identifying the character from the kids show that is popular with adults.

We traveled to the great state of New York in round 3 as teams had to answer questions all about NYC neighborhoods and packaged foods, and players did phenomenal job identifying the famous person in round 4 for our Guess Who round!

I received some more wonderfully hilarious answers in our Find the Connection round (round 5), and teams got “inventive” in round 6 as they had to match the inventor to their invention or discovery.

While the competition was back and forth all night, after round 7, in which teams had to name 10 of the 13 U.S. states whose Senate races aren’t considered “safe", returning champs Quiz Me Baby One More Time took home the win, with It Might Snow Tomorrow coming in second and F*** the Astros coming a close third!

All in all, another great fall night with delicious beer and fantastic King Trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

With a fall chill in the air, 16 teams descended upon Three Weavers for delicious beer and excellent King Trivia!

We kicked off the night with our general knowledge round, which teams had fun giving me creative answers for, and then we moved into our picture round for round 2 where teams had to name the celebrity in their 90’s, in honor of the recently-passed Angela Lansbury.

Round 3 was a fun one, where teams had to answer questions all about crazy families and cold-blooded creatures, and round 4 was a little different as players had to guess the famous place we were looking for, as opposed to the famous person for our Guess Where round.

Teams did a great job guessing the connection in round 5 and gave me some real fun answers, and we dove into some tasty treats for round 6 as teams matched the unique ice cream flavor to the brand.

In honor of spooky season and Halloween just around the corner, teams had to name the best 10 horror movies according to IGN, and — fittingly — Los Espookys came away with the win, with Chunky Brewster and Friends close behind in second and Three Charley Weavers taking third!

A fantastic night of King Trivia in the heart of spooky season!
