QUIZ RECAP

We had a great turnout for King Trivia at Three Weavers this evening!

16 teams showed up to flex their trivia skills and proved that they really came to play as they crushed round 1, our general knowledge round.

In round 2, we started to see some of the more creative answers as teams had to identify the person born in South Africa, and they had a lot of fun with the theme in round 3, a round all about breakfast cereal and air travel.

Players did a fantastic job identifying the famous person in round 4, our Guess Who round, and in round 5 we got many more hilarious and creative answers as teams found the connection between the first 9 answers.

Geography skills were put to the test in round 6 as teams had to match the U.S. border city to its neighboring state or province, and players had way too much fun guessing the 8 shows nominated for Outstanding Drama Series in round 7.

The battle for 2nd and 3rd place was fierce, but ULTIMATE Dominationzzz truly dominated that first place spot, with 3rd Place coming in second place (haha) and Chunky Brewster and Friends coming in third!

Twenty teams showed up to Three Weavers on this windy and wonderful night for King Trivia!

We kicked it off with our general knowledge round, and given the amount of right answers and fun answers, I knew tonight would be ridiculously fun!

Round 2 had teams guessing Bryan Cranston’s filmography in our picture round, and players had a lot of fun submitting their answers for round 3, a round all about sci-fi and slang.

Teams were really on it for our Guess Who round in round 4, and I got some of my best answers yet in round 5 as they tried to find the connection between the first 9 answers (yellow)!

Literary knowledge was tested in round 6 as teams had to match the work to it’s fictional setting, and the competition was excitingly close, heading into the final round with a tie for first place.

In round 7, teams had to identify the five best-selling candy bars and top 5 goal scorers in NHL history, and with that round Quizzed in My Pants pulled ahead with the win, with Quiz Me Baby One More Time right on their heels in second and Does Anyone REALLY Have Their Life Together coming up in third place!

Many new and familiar faces flocked to Three Weavers tonight for King Trivia!

Teams started off strong in round 1 with our general knowledge round, and continued the streak into round 2 where they had to identify the LGBTQ+ icon from the photo for our Picture Round.

Round 3 had players answering questions about video games that became movies and songs that became musicals, and in round 4 I was impressed by the amount of teams that were able to guess the famous person in our Guess Who round within the first few clues!

I got a lot of fun answers in round 5 as teams tried to find the connection betweent the first nine answers, and teams had their Jim Carrey trivia knowledge tested in round 6 as they matched his character to the corresponding film.

The competition was back and forth all night, even as we went into our final round where teams had to guess the top 5 selling beers and top 5 selling whiskeys/bourbons according to Drizly. In the end, we even had a tie! Ultimately, returning winners Gruesome Twosome came away with the win, with Quiz Me Baby One More Time coming in a close second after the tiebreaker and Quizzed in my Pants claiming third!

Another fantastic night!
