It's November 6. Thanksgiving is in three weeks. Christmas is not for another two months, technically. So why the FUCK is Target already adorned with trees and lights and fat little angels? Listen, I love Christmas. Especially the decorations. And living in Southern California where we can't actually feel the weather dropping down to remind us that it's winter and the holiday is fast approaching, decorations and cheerful music are the only reminders we have. But not in November. Not when there's another holiday that has still yet to pass! This is the equivalent of ignoring July 4th by instead hanging up witches and pumpkins and Donald Trump masks. We're not ready for the scary stuff yet, let us roast our weiners and fireworks please! I don't mean to be a Scrooge or a Grinch but November 6th is a little early to start passing out the eggnog.
That being said, I did buy two stockings, a Santa hat and a Stormtrooper ornament for my non-existant tree.
