QUIZ RECAP

It was my first (and hopefully not last) time hosting trivia at Big Stump Brewing and our intrepid teams braved the heat to come out and test their trivia might.  Our teams were quizzed on topics from Adam Sandler movies to cartoon vehicles.  Team David Bowie’s Third Nipple (there’s one for my Google search history) pulled ahead in round three after a successful double or nothing, but team I Picked the Wrong Week to Start F*cking Monkeys (I chose not to ask) was hot on their heels.  After a final round that asked our teams to determine the line of succession to the British throne (assuming you don’t buy into conspiracy theories that say Queen Elizabeth has already shuffled off this mortal coil).

In the end, David Bowie’s Third Nipple took the coveted top stop of the night with I Picked the Wrong Week for Start F*cking Monkeys taking second.  Both Teams walked away with some vouchers for Big Stump.  Come around on Wednesday at 7:00 for beer, trivia, and the kind of camaraderie that can only be forged between individuals that have been tested at trivia and come out the other side (mostly) unscathed.

It was a hot night at Big Stump Brewing tonight! Not just because its mash day, but also because the competition was on FIRE! Luckily we have ample outdoor seating for those looking to escape the heat produced by the beer fermenting process and enjoy the cool Sacramento nights!

I have to admit, team "Team In Second to Last Place" really played their hands perfectly tonight, coming in...well....second to last place....and taking home some beer money! The were almost thwarted, but a last minute team bumped them back into next to last place. 

All of the other teams fought it out with their knowledge of Great Illustrated Classics novels, musician's nicknames, and of course, the human body! It was extremely close, but Cheddar Traditioñal took the cheese tonight with relative newcomers VA Team 4 coming in second. 

But the REAL winners tonight were the friends we made along the way.

QUIZ RECAP

After a couple of days of questionable weather, it turned out to be a beautiful Sacramento night for trivia at Big Stump Brewing Company. 

Tonights teams battled it out over their knowledge of demons, Seinfeld, Las Vegas, and an unusually high number of questions about Game of Thrones! 

Although many teams spent at least one round in first place, tonights winners (who really know their children's books) were the 9th St. Hellcats! Hanging on to second place were Cheddar Non-Traditioñal, who are clearly no relation to our regular Traditioñal version. 

Coming in next-to-last place (and taking home some beer money) were possible newcomers We’re So Lost, who may have wandered into trivia, but clearly walked away with some prizes!
