It was a hot night and a hot race to first place here at Big Stump Brewing Co and let me tell you, our top 3 teams were NOT big stumped!
The top three teams went back and forth almost every round finally coming down to a tie breaker (our first) in which both teams learned that Whitney Houston's recording of the Star Spangled Banner was NOT the huge fundraiser that every one thought it was.
In the end, a new team, (who I'm not unconvinced weren't professional trivia players) took first place, leaving Hogwart's 5th house and Dave's Cute Dad to pick up the pieces.

Quite an exciting game tonight!
The scores were all very close for the first 4 rounds until the Common Bond round started to separate the humans from the robots. The last 2 rounds saw several teams completing successful doubles but the only the REAL Pokemon masters were able to "catch" all the correct answers.
The Indecisive Bitches ended up winning it all, even WITHOUT Chris! By the way, as a quizmaster, this is one of the only times when it was ok to walk up to a table of women and ask "Hey are you all Indecisive Bitches" and not get slapped.
We Drink and Don't Know Things proved that they DID know things and came in second with Bill Gates' Prenup doubling on final round and coming in third!

It was a very interesting night here at Big Stump Brewing Co!
We launched our new King Trivia app to much fanfare! It went pretty smoothly with only a few glitches early on.
El Jefe CJ commanded the lead for much of the first half but took a -1 in the Where Am I round giving way to Table 6 who clearly knew their Ivy League Schools!
We had several first time teams who will hopefully return for more trivia in the future!
