QUIZ RECAP

The nights here in Sacramento are finally starting to cool down, but the competition is still HOT! 

Potter's Angels dominated the quiz tonight (also, see the adorable picture of the team with Potter!), taking the lead early and refusing to give up the whole game.

Second and third place was a little more heated as Adolescent Radioactive Karate Bears and Turd Ferguson Riding High fought back and forth the entire game, eventually ending in a tie. Our tie-breaker proved that literally no one knows ANYTHING about Canada, but Turd Ferguson, with a touching tribute to Norm MacDonald, won the tie breaker to take second place leaving the Bears in the sewers. 

QUIZ RECAP

It was a hot night tonight at Big Stump Brewing Co, but nothing was more heated than the competition!

With MANY successful and unsuccessful doubles, this was the highest scoring night that we've ever had at Big Stump

Coming in first place with a record 84 points, tonights winner was Quizzi-One Kenobi with four, count 'em FOUR successful doubles!

In close(ish) second was Heat Stroke of Genius with 77 (with an incredibly appropriate name)

Rounding out the top three was Table 20, Where's Our Pizza (and yes they DID eventually get their pizza!) with 67 points. 

The heat did drive a couple of teams away, but we hope that they come back next week!

QUIZ RECAP

Finally a nice, cool night for trivia here in Saramento with some cool trivia players!

David Bowie's 3rd Nipple took and early lead in the first round with the only successful Double and managed to keep control the entire night, despite our ridiculously handsome trivia host's best efforts to derail them. 

Following closely in second place, and blessing the lack of rain, Echoing drums & whispered quiet conversations came in second with ObiesPretzels coming in third, which pleased Obie, who is the goodest dog. 

Speaking of that, we had LOTS of furry friends with us tonight, which is awesome because Big Stump is ALWAYS dog friendly and so is your trivia host! Thanks for coming out everyone!
