Another great trivia night at Big Stump Brewing Company - THE BEST BREW HOUSE IN SACRAMENTO!

The teams tonight were enthusiastic and energetic! I'm always impressed by how great our trivia regulars are here at Big Stump. 

The evening started pretty even, with a 3-way tie in the first round. As the evening progressed the David Bowies 3rd Nipple was able to maintain their lead as the other teams fought each other for some beer money. 

Relative newcomers "The Lynchpins" were thrilled to take home the new "next to last" prize. Although DB3N took first place, "Karen Gillan as Nero, understudy Kelley Osbourne" (using the top 3 most used King Trivia answers) fought their way into 2nd place. 

Ironically, Forever Third came in third. Finally fufilling the prophecy predicting the end times.

Thanks to all the teams that came out for our first non-DST game, which I am told was not at midnight, but was at our regular time of 7pm.

It was a fast and furious game of trivia tonight! The evening began with the majority of teams doubling in the first round. As the game carried on 3 teams dominated the top spots until the 5th round when all 3 teams missed the double and the next 3 teams rocketed into the top spots! 

At the end of the game Jeopardy champions Hold On, Natalie Knows (HONK), took the top spot, The Moist Shushers took second, and "QUIZAM!" starring Sinbad (which is definitely a movie that I remember!) came in 3rd!

It was a good night to be David Bowie's Third Nipple!

The night began in a 5-way, double-down tie. As each of the teams fought it out, a victor began to emerge in round 4. With each subsequent round their lead widened, eventually leading to 5 succesful doubles and a whopping 102 points!

Harold and Kumar go to Fire Island finished third and the Beerheads Deluxe came through at the last minute to take 3rd place once again proving that beauty and brains don't always go hand in hand. 

Special thanks to all the doggos that came out tonight. As always, our venue is dog friendly and theoretically pig friendly, but no one has tested that one yet.
