QUIZ RECAP
Looks like everyone came out for our Not Halloween Themed Trivia Night! We had a fantastic turnout for a game that can only be described as a "nailbiter"
The game started with an early double and lead by the Only Quizzers in the Building, who were quickly knocked out of the top 3 by other teams. What resulted was a constant fight where each round saw a different team on top.
In the end the top 4 teams were only 5 points apart from each other with Macaroni's Grill (who haven't been here in the last couple of weeks - Welcome back!) taking first, Le Quizerábles taking 2nd, and Steeled Packers taking third.
My condolences to Smooth Reefrigerator Staples who would have taken second if it wasnt for that darn Sharron Osbourne!

QUIZ RECAP
The spoopy season has finally arrived Sacramento! The ghosts of trivia past came back to haunt some of our teams, but in a good way, like Scooby Doo, not like 13 Ghosts.
Round 1 saw two teams, "This IS my costume" and "It’s a bones day" successfully double, forcing an early tie and creating a struggle for first and second that lasted the entire game!
Although "It’s a bones day" trailed for most of the game, they brought it back with a successful double in Round 5, being the only team to guess the common bond. But in the end, "This IS my costume" was able to pull ahead and placed first, with "It’s a bones day" coming in second and newcomers "Lynchpins" taking third in their first night here at Big Stump.
Just as the last round ended, we finally got some much needed rain, and luckily Big Stump has ample indoor seating as well as outdoor seating and all the teams came inside for the announcment of the winners!

It certainly was a dark evening at Big Stump Brewing Company! I believe that this can be attributed to the sun setting increasingly earlier. However it did not prevent newcomers "Ummmmmmm..uhhhhhh...i dunno just pick something" from taking home the gold....er....coupons.
The evening started promising for "Stepping on Legos" but as the round progressed several teams, including the entire The Washington Football Team 2022 Cheerleader Calendar eclipsed them.
In the end, the aforementioned Calendar took home 3rd place, despite being mistaken by the host as being "questionably homeless", Existential Crisis Wednesday took home second place, and Ummmmmmm..uhhhhhh...i dunno just pick something, did indeed pick something, and that something was the right answers.
But the real winner tonight was William Shatner, who proved that you dont have to be young to get real high.
