QUIZ RECAP

It was a beautiful spring evening with tons of first time teams tonight,  and many of them were not "stumped" here at Big Stump Brewing Company!

The evening started with a 3 way tie, but as the night progressed our teams fought it out, but not by using their fists, but by using their BRAINS! And also technically their fingers, which is how they entered answers into their phones....BUT THATS NOT IMPORTANT!

What IS important is that newbies Girls Just Wanna Have General Fund took home the first place prize with a whopping 75 points and returning team David Bowie's 3rd Nipple took second! Both teams showed their knowledge of profitable countries, monopoly pieces, and Arnod Schwarzenegger quotes. 

We also learned that apparently a Predator got Arnold pregnant in what can only be described as the weirdest plot twist ever. 

As always, thank all our teams for coming out the the BEST trivia night in midtown Sacramento on a Wednesday  or Thursday night (according to some dude on Reddit) We are always dog friendly and sometimes people friendly at the bar with the best selection of beer, sours, and ciders this side of the Memorial Auditorium!

QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was the busiest night that I've seen here at Big Stump Brewing Company! We started the night with 17 teams! Sadly only 3 can take home prizes! We also had a special guess doggo named Cosmo who visited us tonight. He answered all the questions correct and was the goodest doggo,  but since he was not old enough, we had to give the prize to another team!

The questions tonight were tricky and few teams doubled down until the last few rounds. Teams showed their knowledge of all things Irish, Lisas, Universities, Famous mother/daughter combinations, dystopian novels, and of course, THE BIBLE. 

At the end of the night Shake and Bake took first place and returning team Cheddar Traditioñal took second and first time team the Razorback Gals took second-to-last (a tradition we have here at Big Stump!) 

Thanks to everyone that came out tonight! And for being patient with SO many teams! We ARE the BEST trivia in midtown Sacramento on Wednesday or Thursday night (according to that one guy on Reddit!) and as always we have ample outdoor AND indoor seating and are VERY dog friendly (seriously, please bring your dogs!)

Another very competitive night of trivia here at Big Stump Brewing Company! The dog-friendliest trivia spot in midtown Sacramento!

Tonight proved that just because you start strong, you may not win...and vice versa! Tonight out teams duked it out with their knowledge of lakes, childrens books, flowers, and famous painters!

In the end, David Bowie's 3rd Nipple was victorious (its been a while!), with perrenial favorite Turkleton taking 2nd place! Honorable mention to Moby Dick Pics for NOT coming in last place and taking home our "not last place" prize!
