Happy happy New Year, everybody!
Welcome back to our friendly familiar faces and our new friends who joined us tonight, too, with brand new teams in the mix!
New year, new teams, and -- new questions!
We bopped along to motivational songs to start this New Year -- and everyone who got Lizzo right was feeling Good as Hell indeed.
We also celebrated Milo's 9th birthday with Michelle, Nicole, and Taking Care of Quizness.
For round one, we saw a six-way tie -- then more ties up until the Find the Connection Batman round, and finally one last tie after our videogame princess round.
Bringing us to our first tiebreaker of 2021 -- where we asked how deep the Mariana Trench is -- and Zima: Warrior Princess said 35,500 and Taking Care of Quizness said 35,000.
It was Sara and Tim who made the point to add 500 to their guess, leading Zima: Warrior Princess to...the win!
Since the right number is 36,201 feet deep.
Breaking Taking Care of Quizness's winning streak, but as Michelle said -- it's okay if they lose, as long as Georgia wins.
And we threw in a ton of Australia questions for Karla to enjoy tonight -- and she held down the fort well with 17 points as a team of one.

QUIZ RECAP
We all enjoyed each other's New Year's company and celebrated with drinks in hand and to the tune of 2020's top hits for the audio round!
Then, we paid homage to the frontline workers of 2020 by naming the famous nurses from TV shows.
There were a lot of jokes throughout the night about whether we could count TNT or Justin Bieber, which trickled from the first round all the way to the final.
And for our connection, we linked together movies starring or characters played by Mr. Danny DeVito!
It was such a joy to be able to see everyone and to end the year together.
We had much to feel festive for -- especially that 2020 is closing at the end of this year and we can embrace 2021 as soon as this week!
