A big HAPPY TUESDAY to everyone who came to play this week!

We are celebrating four weeks of King Trivia on Zoom so we are super glad to have seen new faces and returning ones!

What a night we had, with a four-way tie going into Round One, with our general knowledge q's, then our Round Two started to see the competition heat up even more, with our Name that Colorful Band/Musician.

And I am proud to say I knew three out of six! Not half bad, eh, if I do say so myself 🙂

And Round Three's connection put a smile on everyone's faces -- with Capetown, Lane Bryant, the Press, Metropolis, AC/DC, Christopher Reeve, and Krypton all leading us to Superman!

Well, math is my kryptonite but Lily's favorite subject and why I am so grateful for Mister Chris Manning who is stellar with the scorekeeping, tech directing, and mutual support!

After Round Three, we had one point separating 6 Feet from Kevin Bacon from Zima: Warrior Princess -- and it all came down to Round Four, naming those cartoony villains who didn't look so mean after all.

Come on, Plankton's like a plankton! The friendliest-looking plankton you'd ever see.

Well, Zima: Warrior Princess zoomed past with 48 points, clinching the lead for tonight -- proving that, as we say in trivia, it's always still anyone's game!

Join us next week to see if it will be your game!

We had a FUN-nomenal third week of King Trivia on Zoom!

We welcomed back new faces and familiar ones -- and we met Steve, from Puzz Lightyear, who used to be a host for King Trivia!

He hosted at Barney's Beanery in Westwood, which Chris has done -- and also at GOAL, which will always have a piece of my heart. Steve is literally the amalgamation of both of us!

I also saw Michael, who I know from past times doing press film junkets together back before junkets moved to Zoom!

And Team Pannido and Karla were back to play too -- with Team Pannido's Argentinian and Italian savvy coming in clutch and Karla asking her mum about the (chrysanthe)mums for Round Four!

Then, I talked about getting flowers for my mum, whose birthday is tomorrow YAY! It's her special day -- a Wednesday for Wen's Day! (My mom's name is Wen 🙂 )

All in all, we are so grateful to have this community at a time when 2020 has spread us apart more.

Taking Care of Quizness sprang forth from a four-way tie initially to end the night with a win -- and they came across three time zones, too! From East Coast to Midwest to Cali!

Thank you for joining and come back next week 🙂

And remember to do your laundry -- a reminder from Round 3's Connection and you can listen to all the artists from our British invasion Round 2 while folding those sheets, spanning Harry Styles, Jessie J, Adele, Taio Cruz, David Bowie, and Sha-la-la-la-lee!

Then, go back yourself a sandwich in honor of Elvis with bacon, peanut butter, and

B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!!

What a night we had for our second week of King Trivia on Zoom!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us from last week -- and all of our lovely new faces this week, too!

We had our mixed bag of General Trivia for Round One as always -- with questions pertaining to both films and news articles from 2020 as well as sports mascots from the 1970s.

Then, Round 2 saw us trying to name those Rockin' Ladies -- with ladies of Rock 'n' Roll though if I was playing, I would have put all Pat Benatar -- so all of y'all definitely did far better than me!

We had a four-way tie going into Round 3, which was quite exciting --

As equally exciting as the fact that today * is * National * Ice-Cream * Cone * Day!!!

Please, have a cone in honor of today and our Round 3 Find the Connection for those sweet, sweet ice-cream flavas!

That Neapolitan War was really the one that helped you the most, right?

It was the tipping point, as it most likely was in history as well.

Then, we finally came to Round 4, which had everyone joyfully naming the shows based on the Pictures of the Hosts.

Despite how Karla from Australia didn't get Nailed It, she loved my joke when I said "which teams got this show correct? That means you guys nailed it!"

And we all laughed over the memories that we have of Steve Harvey messing up pageant winners two years in a row and of course, I broke out my ice queen impression for Anne Robinson of "You are the weakest link, goodbye."

Well goodbye to everyone for tonight -- a nice of ice-cream and ice-queens -- but don't worry, Sanyee and Chris will bring the sunshine in quarantine!

See y'all next week!

And we ended the night with a two-way tie for third place, a two-way tie for second, and our educators Digressionary Funds winning for the night! They know their Zoom -- and trivia well 🙂
