A happy happy holidays from King Trivia to everyone this Tuesday!

We played classic holiday tunes and asked our teams to name the movie associated with each one.

And we found out that Michelle watched Home Alone for the first time this past weekend!

Spoiler alert -- there is a sequel.

Then, we sleuthed through the Connection round to uncover that all of the answers were related to our good ole-fashioned 12 Days of Christmas!

Well here we are in our good ole-fashioned 12 Days of Quarantine.

And my true love gave to me -- five...rolls of toilet paper!

The ultimate Christmas present.

Our final round saw green logos because...they could all make good presents? And green like red and green for the holidays?

ZOOM THEME EVENT: JAMES BOND RECAP

Well, we all grabbed our martinis -- shaken, not stirred -- and were ready for a night of James Bond trivia.

We had TJ and JT on dueling teams -- and TJ changed his backdrop multiple times throughout our four rounds.

In Round Two, we all had a great time describing how the character in our Audio Round died -- and like Marissa said, "all at the hands of James Bond," basically.

Speaking of, hi Marissa!!!

It was a stellar blast from the past as we dove into Disney Channel Movie Surfer trivia together -- and remembered our adventures ziplining and pitching baseballs galore.

We saw Slazenger Sevens hanging onto their lead for the first two rounds, then Quiz Quiz Bang Bang sneaking up oh-so-stealthily to take the lead away from them.

With both of their successful double downs in the last round, Quiz Quiz Bang Bang crept forward by a nose. Well, by a three-point-difference.

And Marissa and I are so down for Rom Com-themed night 🙂

QUIZ RECAP

It was another fabulous Tuesday here at King Trivia on Zoom!

We welcomed new faces and familiar ones -- and saw so many ties going into Round Two, when we played songs that could encapsulate fun in the sun during these darker days.

Round Three saw three successful double-downs with flavors of ice-cream! Though that Superman flavor definitely had everyone curious about what those swirls of blue, yellow, and red taste like.

And in Round Four, we awarded our Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals to our top three teams who made the podium -- Zima: Warrior Princess with Bronze, new team Drunken Gumption Unction with Silver, and in first place -- continuing their first place streak for Alex S.'s birthday!!! Takin' Care of Quizness, who could not be caught all night.

Huge shout-out to Digressionary Funds who Kev and I saw just last night for their private event -- and I love how Mary-Ellen kept affirming how everyone was still talking about trivia night at their staff meeting this morning! And how one staffer even forgot to change her name from her team name last night.

We are here and ready to provide rematches anytime.

Just so happy to be the Santa Clauses of this stay-at-home time, bringing joy to the Zooms and living rooms 🙂
