King Trivia on Zoom

A Totally Tubular Time was had at our 90's Animated TV Themed Event! We had everything from Rugrats to the Simpsons and everything in between! And did we mention that absolutely awesome slide background! It was a night to remember and we loved having you all there!
We went all around the world this Tuesday, showing that even if we can't leave our homes during quarantine, we can certainly go globetrotting through trivia night!
We packed our bags and named all the countries in NAFTA for Round One, then belted out anthem karaoke for guessing the national anthems in the Audio Round.
Japan's was our curveball, reminding us of Bjork; Mexico's almost sounded Italian.
And what can I say about New Zealand?
Simply that I now have it on repeat.
That beat drop, tho.
Chris was ready with his cell phone in the air and my sister thought it sounded like a holiday carol. That's how soothing it was.
Then, we learned about the Labrador Sea for our connection round -- breeds of dogs and though Milo didn't join Michelle for the pic, Alex's Lab showed up!
And will probably never let him live the Labrador Sea down.
For our final round, we went to politicians in their younger years and named George W. Bush with that Y for Yale Bulldogs cap, not Yankees -- and Karla was ready for Boris Johnson.
But oh wait, that was actually -- Angela Merkel!
We all totally see the resemblance now, though.
And we will see all the teams next week!
Taking Care of Quizness is on that winning streak -- let's see how you do next week 🙂

We all grabbed a cup of Earl Grey tea and settled in to go where no trivia host has gone before --
Star Trek: The Next Generation trivia!
We had so much fun joking about the rouge borg being ultra-fabulous (when it shoulda been the rogue borg, eh!) and Round One was a breeze for all of our teams as we saw multiple successful double downs.
Round Two was where it started getting trickier, but our Dim Bulbs led each crew in a chorus of answers.
Round Three was enjoyable for all, spelling out FERENGI -- and as Dim Bulbs ran ahead with a 40-point lead, they were indeed the ones to catch.
Just as we suspected, Round Four was a blast with naming the different species and Trill proved to be the trippiest!
But don't worry -- no one was inferior at all. We realized Round Four went full-circle showing the Bolian who were responsible for Picard's artificial heart transplant from Round One.
We also brainstormed some amazing names for teams for the next Star Trek game!
Including Keeping up with the Cardassians and How to Get a Nausicaan Under the Mistletoe as well as Q-Anon.
But of course we loved everyone's incredibly names tonight -- and were happy to see Quark the cat make a guest appearance!
We were happy to see smiles all around and could tell no one wanted the night to end.
Live long and prosper, trivia crews!
