10 teams came out to compete at OB's to see who would go home the most smartest playing King Trivia as well as receiving $40 towards their next OB's visit!

I was super excited to see so many registered teams coming back to put on their thinking caps. We started out the game with a few points on the scoreboard. But "17th Street Gang," knocked the first round outta the park grabbing the maximum amount of points by doubling their score and getting two more points for having a registered name. But by Round 2, many of our teams doubled their points answering the picture round with 100% accuracy. "17th St Gang" stayed in the lead thru most of the game but they busted on Round 6 causing "Pussy Over Pancakes" AND "Student Debt Ceiling" to overtake their lead.
Special shoutout to "This Is Not Our Boyfriend," for coming back again this week and ending the night with 50 beautiful points. An OB's fave and reg, "Those Beaches" had a great run but unfortunately busted on both Round 7 and Round 8 when they went for the double or nothing. I love my fellas over at "Bud Lightyear" but this game they also busted on both Round 7 and Round 8.
The game ended with "17th St Gang" not only in THIRD place and $10 towards their next OB's visit but they also won the Chili Cheese Fry Round! "Pussy Over Pancakes," another fave reg of OB's King Trivia came in SECOND place and $20 towards their next OB's visit. And coming in FIRST place with an awesome 93 points was another OB's reg fave, "Student Debt Ceiling." They also received $40 towards their next OB's visit!!

Thanks to the incredible bar and waitstaff for keeping bellies full and mouths quenched. Looking forward to next time!

We had another fun game of questions and answers at OB's with 10 teams competing to go home in first place with the $40 credit towards their next visit to OB's.
Thanks to all the new teams who came out to play and of course a warm welcome back to our returning faves. "The Winners" were a ton of fun to have play. These fun gals knew a lot of the answers! "Down To Two" played exceptionally well and we hope they come back again soon. "Killer Bees" was an adorable couple who kept up with the best of them. "This Is Not My Boyfriend" not only won the Chili Cheese Fry Round but they also ended the night in THIRD place along with $10 towards their next visit to OB's. SECOND place and $20 towards their next OB's visit went to "Stuff Me, Baste Me, Pull My Feathers" who lost the tie breaking point to "Support Mira Costa Rugby." This wonderfully raucous crew came in FIRST place and won $40 towards their next OB's visit. A fantastic Thanksgiving Eve of King Trivia fun was had by all. See you next time!

QUIZ RECAP

On Wednesday night, I had the honor of covering for a fellow Quizmaster at OB's Pub & Grill, in beautiful Manhattan Beach. It was extra special for me, as it was also my first official gig. It was a blast!

OB Have not only got 1st place, they also had the closest answer to the question of the night, and won themselves some chili cheese fries! Bud Lightyear won 2nd place with just one point behind, and in third were the Royal Taint Washers, aka Pickle Rick.

Student Debt Ceiling, and We Like To Come From Behind came close at the end, but had different journeys. A couple of rounds got the best of We Like... bu they came back strong with a double or nothing. Pussy Over Pancakes hung in there, if only they'd gone for that double or nothing on round 5. The Hooligans joined us for the first time, they were originally just meeting up for a quick drink. I hope I encouraged them enough create an official team, because they did great, and surprised themselves on how much they knew.
